THE TEAM
Solo Project
TIMELINE
December 2024 - February 2025
I designed and prototyped the Indoor Experience feature for XPLR, enhancing city exploration through AR-driven interactions. Through user research and testing, I identified key traveler challenges, leading to the development of an intuitive itinerary planning and historical exploration tool.
The prototype allows users to discover attractions, preview landmarks using AR, and create personalized itineraries, making city exploration more engaging and interactive. Usability testing confirmed the design’s intuitiveness, and future iterations will incorporate AI-powered navigation, gamification, and outdoor AR experiences for a richer, more immersive journey.

WIREFRAMES
To be able to test my ideas, I transformed them into a physical format so that the potential user can interact with them. Low and high fidelity wireframes evolve to an interactive prototype. My focus was to help users find destinations, locations, text, media and AR experiences and add to itinerary.

HI-FI DESIGN
Next, I created a high fidelity prototype, which can be found here. Information included are sourced from Journalists, Guidebooks and resources online.

3D ASSETS
Using Blender, I created individual assets needed for the AR experience including the Airballoon, Newspaper and Smiley face

USER TESTING
After completing my first prototype of a potential solution, I tested my designs and flows with potential users - individuals who represent the target group.
